Fight child hunger through community and school partnerships.

Every Meal focuses on the food gaps when children aren’t able to receive free and reduced meal programs. We provide weekend and other food gap programs serving over 10,000 children across 400 locations. But there’s more to do. Donate, volunteer, and join us in our fight against child hunger.

Fraser is Minnesota’s largest and most experienced provider of autism and early childhood mental health services. Fraser serves infants through adults with healthcare, housing, education and employment. Our programs are nationally recognized for being high quality, innovative and individualized to each family.

The Free Book Buggie is the brainchild of Debbie Beck, and was meticulously constructed by its Founding Team. On a trip to Brazil with her daughter, Debbie found the inspiration for The Buggie as she was traveling along the southern coast.

Stopping in a small, colonial town just outside of Rio, she noticed a multicolored van that was filled with books, and its owner sitting on a chair beside a table full of books. Seeing the attention the van received, especially from children, Debbie realized her desire to bring that same excitement of reading back home to Minnesota.

Along with her co-founder, Sue Fredricks, and the generous help of volunteers, Debbie and the Buggie travel around the Twin Cities giving free books to children of all ages and promoting literacy.

Can Do Canines is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for people with disabilities by creating mutually beneficial partnerships with specially trained dogs. We envision a future in which every person who needs and wants an assistance dog can have one.

Kids ‘n Kinship provides friendships and positive role models to children and youth ages 5 to 16 who are in need of an additional supportive relationship with an adult.

The mission of the Autism Society of Minnesota (AuSM) is to enhance the lives of individuals and families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder. AuSM serves Minnesotans, throughout their lives, with a fundamental commitment to advocacy, education, support, collaboration, and community building.

Founded in 2010, Saving Grace Village offers adolescent girls the opportunity to discover their gifts through creative expression. Saving Grace Village hosts weekend retreats at the Audubon Center of the North Woods, a 535-acre sanctuary on Grindstone Lake near Sandstone, Minnesota, where adult mentors lead girls through a variety of activities so they can explore what gives them energy and joy. Our volunteers support participants by encouraging them, listening to them and letting them know they aren’t alone.

It started with a promise in a Wayzata church basement 40 years ago.

We will build a community where everyone counts, where all children are cherished and protected, and where family life is valued and supported by all. Since 1979, this great community has been doing just that – leading, rallying and igniting the power of people in the western suburbs of Minneapolis, Minnesota to address the critical needs of people living right here – our neighbors. What started as a small food shelf has become a resource for thousands of families in eight west Hennepin County communities.

Incorporated in May 2018, The Silver Closet was born from a conversation between a senior housing professional and a real estate agent. One had clients without anything. The other had clients with too much stuff. Why not connect these two populations to specifically serve seniors? The Silver Closet was born.

We exist not only to provide gently used household goods to seniors, but also to offer health, safety, and dignity to our seniors in senior housing communities.

As a young new non profit, our funding comes from private donations, fund raisers, and offering clean out services to people who are moving out of their home. Our volunteers and movers will empty the home, minimizing what goes to a landfill, and recycling what can be recycled. Revenue from clean outs allows us to offer delivery service of household goods to our seniors without transportation.

We are a virtual furniture bank until we are able to secure a warehouse where you'll be able to pay us a visit.

VEAP is a basic needs organization whose programs include access to healthy foods, social services, housing stability and supportive services.
